Emissions of greenhouse gases lead to incrasing global temperatures and climate change.
- Higher temperatures cause evaporation, droughts, and wildfires in some places, more clouds, heavy rainfall, and floods in other places. Higher tempera-tures also cause more intense storms, cause glaziers to melt and sea levels to rise. Food production, health, and the standard of living is threathened.
- All this makes it more difficult for humans to live good lives on our planet.
This is not surprising in light of what scientists have known for more than hundred years.
What is surprising is how difficult it is to agree on policies to prevent climate change. In this interactive learning environment you are invited to manage the emissions of the world. First some more information.
